About the artist

A graphic designer and illustrator from Bucaramanga, Colombia, “Primario” the independent, artistic illustration project was born in May 2018, and has been making headway in his homeland ever since. He has worked with cultural organizations and collaborated with other up and coming artists at fairs and exhibitions with his bright and exuberant designs. He is currently living and working in Medillín, Colombia.

Inspiration

Primario has a flair for an urban, sometimes retro style. His pieces are centered around a primary colour theme, with focus on simple geometry forms and sometimes text. Everyday life is his inspiration and is reflected in his work; he portrays his perspective in a personal way, and as he says, that can be in a very clear form, or very abstract.
